About Me

Bastos was the brain child of Mike, Harry, Nick and John back in 2001 with the intent to just play whatever we wanted but it had to be heavy. No vocals were ever recorded on any of the studio tracks we put together,The music alone was powerful enough. It would have been nice but our searches turned up empty. The demise of the quartet first hit in may of 2005. By the middle of 2006 Bastos 2.0 was in the works and over shortly after . Mike,John and Nick had gotten back together, starting from scratch but nothing came of it. The spark had died. Since the final push everyone is playing in other groups. Harry is playing bass with Cheech, Mike is playing bass for The Trash Boys, John is playing drums with FINAL HOUR, and Nick is working on a solo album. This music is fucking awesome and deserves to still be heard.. we put our hearts into this . so feel free to do what you will

Sounds Like: Dont really know how to describe what we sound like. How we think we sound may be totally different than how you think we sound. So determine for yourself; take it for what it is. dont be one of those people who listens to 10 seconds of a song and then decide that it sucks. listen to the whole thing. We want to keep all of our options open and have fun playing music.
