August 2007 the band 69 South disbanded. From the ashes rose a new band, Copper Road. "Jeff Jones pretty much got the ball rolling again." Says guitarist Mike Thomas. "He talked me and Sam into playing, and later we recruited the rest of the band." The other recruits were Jimmy Roebuck on drums, David Bowles on bass, Megan Ipock on vocals and the last addition was Chad Audas on guitar and lead vocals.

A little about the video below. Jeff Jones went to The Bluebird Cafe in Nashville to sign up for songwriters night and there happened to be a british film crew there who were doing a documentary on "Politics and Country Music". They asked Jeff if he wrote any political songs, and after thinking for a second or two, Jeff answered, "Yeah I have." He hadn't played the song "Hussein" in a very long time, but he played it for them anyway. Below is a clip from the documentary that aired in Great Britain. The woman appearing in the video is the owner of The Bluebird Cafe.
