I was born in Galatina (LE) on July 6th 1981. My parents are both opera singers and I early start my music career when a 7 years old child studying piano and violin at the Tito Schipa Conservatory in Lecce. When 12, I discover an innate passion for singing and I soon turn into soul/pop music when a teen. I develop stage performance as well as studio recording skills with my first loved band in Lecce,but then I move to Rome to study Communication and Marketing at La Sapienza University. Here I finally have the chance to express my full and deep love for black music by singing as lead vocal in several soul, pop, R&B, blues and funk bands and Gospel choirs (Antonella Cilenti's Phonema Gospel Singers and MARIA GRAZIA FONTANA's SAT&B). With SAT&B I perform in 2004 on "NATALE IN VATICANO" on Canale5 as lead singer and background vocal, the same year on the italian "BIG BROTHER" on Canale5, on "I RACCOMANDATI" on Rai1, on "TAPPETO VOLANTE" and I record backgrounds in RENATO ZERO and ROSSANA CASALE's albums. In Rome I also have the pleasure to meet and record original and cover songs with now-famous amazing MARIO BIONDI. In 2003 I meet one of the most important person in my life as a singer, FULVIO TOMAINO, who becomes my teacher for about 3 years. I work with Maestro VITO TOMMASO in 2004 and 2005 in the production and theater-performance of a musical, having the emotion of playing with MARCO SINISCALCO on bass and MARCELLO SURACE on drums as well as Antonello Vannucchi ..boards. I also work on a special project with singer/producer MAX CALO'.
I sing as background and lead vocal in LA VOCE DELLA LUNA band, the official ALEX BARONI's tribute band, sharing and feeling the deep emotion of keeping alive the memory of this amazing italian singer.
Then I have the wonderful experience of being chosen by Maestro STEFANO PALATRESI as his lead and background vocal for his 2005 and 2006 Italy tours, sharing the stage with great names of the music industry such as SANDRO and ALFONSO DEIDDA, Sergio Di Natale, Enzo Autuori, Gianfranco Campagnoli and Gerry Popolo. After her bachelor's degree, I decide to move to the US, in Boston, to attend a master's degree in International Marketing. I lived also in New York working for a multinational company, but never forgetting my deepest love, music. In August 2007 I work with Maestro STEFANO ZAVATTONI and the All Times Orchestra, the famous big band for Paolo Belli and several TV shows. I worked with italian and american musicians in Boston and New York trying to come out with new ideas and songs. Back to Rome, I am on TV with SAT&B in the Sunday show DOMENICA IN and right now I am totally committed and involved in the saturday night TV show SERATA D'ONORE with PIPPO BAUDO, with great music director BRUNO BIRIACO and an amazing orchestra as backing vocal (together with great M.Grazia Fontana, Luca Velletri and Bruno Corazza).
