the world is full of people i have never met, but those i wish i coukld meet in no particular order, would include mike ness, b-actor bruce cambell, nick 13, danny boyle, irvine welsh, kevin smith, george carlin, h.r. giger, wes anderson, the coen brothers,peter jackson, eddie izzard, dylan moran,ricky gervais, and the New England Patriots. As you can see i have no desire to meet politicans, world leaders, or world activists, but rather those involved in making the world more enjoyable through entertainment. i am infactuated with music and more so cinema. i live for film.
Music:
basically any form or variation of psychobilly/rockabilly including its origins. Specifically MIKE NESS, TIGER ARMY, NEKROMANTIX, REVEREND HORTON HEAT, HORRORPOPS, STRAY CATS, GUANA BATZ, ZOMBIE GHOST TRAIN, COFFIN NAILS, DEMENTED ARE GO, SOCIAL DISTORTION, 12 STEP REBELS, DICK DALE, LINK WRAY, MAD SIN, JOHNNY CASH, HANK WILLIAMS SR., BATMOBILE, THE METEORS, THE QUAKES, THREE BAD JACKS, Buddy Holly, and anything else i happen to listen to and enjoy...oh and i almost forgot...i hate rap almost as much as i do emo...with minor exceptions.
Movies:
basically anything that is done well, or intentionally done tasteslessly. im not very picky, but i try to avoid the recent cookiecutter bullshit poring out of hollywood. sequels, prequels, revamped television shows that sucked when they first aired, that sorta thing bothers me. i am a sucker for films that have been banned in random countries, or claim to be controversial. espically horror movies, or films about drug addiction. they never seis to amaze me, except the propeganda film "reefer maddness" which was rediculous. if you care to view my taste in films, ask. i love to chat about films.
Television:
AQUA TEEN HUNGER FORCE, FAMILY GUY,THE SIMPSONS, REN AND STIMPY, for the most part i dont watch television, mostly movies and football. but i HATE reality tv shows with a passion. these shows are a waste of life and air time.
Books:
lately i have had the opportunity to read for pleasure, and i have not fumbled this occasion. i read a plethora of short stories and a couple novels by the master of twist, Roald Dahl. he never seises to amaze me. unfortunatley he will not write any new material as he has been dead for some time now. i have also started reading material from the Scotish writer, Irvine Welsh, a master of contemporary times.
Heroes:
above all, my father. as i grow older i see myself as being my father. if i am fortunate enough to be half the man he is, i will be a good man, a great husband, and an amazing father. i love you dad
