About Me

I am a 31 year old stay at home mom and college student. I am studying English and Digital Media at Texas Women's University. I love my job - I get to stay at home and play with my kids . . . who wouldn't love that??

I love to sing, and in the past have graced the stages of such Texas oprys as Johnny High's Country Music Review and the Grapevine Opry. Although it's been a few months since I was last able to sing, I love to sing in church and I miss the stage dearly.

I have no clue when I am going to graduate. Hopefully, it will be before the next mellinium and then Ronnie and I can own a cute little house somewhere close to Magnolia, TX before we're 50 . . .

I love to cook and bake and am forever experimenting on my family. Thank God Ronnie loves me . . . LOL.

My Interests

I love ren faires and have made it my personal goal to have the garb I want within the next five months.

I used to love going on paranormal investigations, although that oppertunity hasn't arisin in some time. I would love to go on a good one . . .

I love to read, cook, and play with my daughter. Although, currently my time is occupied by schoolwork, cleaning, and feeding my son (although I do get to have "snuggle time" with Em in the mornings!).

I'd like to meet:

I met the man of my dreams here on MySpace 2 years ago. I married him a year later!

Music:

I love everything except for gansta rap. Well, okay, not so much into death metal either. Right now I am into DC Talk and Nichole Nordeman a LOT. I also love Sarah Brightman, Sarah McLaughlin, and Tori Amos. Hmm . . . mostly chicks . . . I am sensing a pattern here . . .

Movies:

I adore the horror genre, especially old B&W movies (Psycho rocks!!)

However, Gone with the Wind is my favorite movie of all time.

Television:

Ghost Hunters, Heros, CSI (I am SO sad that Jorja's leaving!!), Survivor, and America's Next Top Model (guilty pleasure for me . . .) . . . the only other ones I watch are the kids shows on Playhouse Disney with my three year old!!

Books:

I love books. I love to walk into an old book store and smell the musty smell of the leather and the old pages. I love old literature and new literature. Some of my current favorites are Jennifer Weiner and Nora Robers. I also love poets - especially Emily Dickenson.

Heroes:

Jesus, my parents, my husband (who has rescued me from certain lonliness...),and my friends all qualify to fit into this category!
