Hey Folks, here some news: nearly finished with the first CD-Production of that weird crazy art formation "Igor & the Rattlesnake Solar Sound System" you can hear two pieces of the ep as second and third on that site. At the last piece you..ll find now The MATI KLARWEIN FLOODVERSATION, a psychodelic interviewcollage of one the most inspiring persons I ever met. I did that with an 8 trackmachine and no computer. Mati loved it. He did the recordcovers for Miles Davis, Santana etc. had friendships with Picasso, Dali, Warhol, Hendrix, J.F.Kennedy and many more. I recommende highly to hear this with a headphone, that you can really follow the different layers. This is in memorial to my beloved friend MATI! Here more about me: I started playing Saxophone (also Flute, Bass clarinet & percussions) many years ago in the village where I grew up, firstly starting with free improvisations and then learning all the classical techniques. When I moved to Berlin, one of my first bands was a punk band called “GHOUL” , where I played saxophone in a very aggressive style (taking over all those electronic effects of a guitar...). Then I played in African Bands, Jazz Orchestras & many others. Inspired by David Lynch’s Twin Peaks, a group of friends and I set a band up called “BOX & COX” - a weird jazzy moody dangerous sound cocktail. Then came the “FREE LANCERS” and after that “BIG BLOW 7”, a formation of 3 drums and 4 horns that blow your ass away! At the moment I am working with a friend from New York & 2 Berlin friends on our project "Igor & the Rattlesnake". I love to jam, so I’m open for all music styles! For some years now, I have been teaching to play the saxophone and that has become my profession.
