These are my first thoughts on what to write here. I am sure I will be revising it. I am first of all a child of God. He built me with a bent towards children. Not just the intelligent lovable ones, but the ones who have had their spirits broken, or have physical challenges in their lives.Family is way up high on my priority list. My goal in life was to be a grandma. I had such a close relationship with my grandma that I wanted that with my grandkids. I have 4 totally awesome grandsons, oh, and 2 totally awesome children.I am a displaced Texan. I was born and raised in southern Texas. I love the open spaces. I love cactus, mesquite trees, deer, and long walks around Mesquite Hill with my mother. I enjoy riding horses, 4-wheelers, and motorcycles.I think of the warm salty water of the Gulf of Mexico on Padre Island. The calming sound of the waves gently reaching for the dunes and sharing all of this my Texas kin. I feel so loved when I am there.P.S a very wise person just used this quote "I'm not old. I'm hip and young!!"
