About Me

Iâ€™m making my first feature film. I used to make short films and learned so much about working quickly and efficiently and simply getting a film shot by being part of a group called Group 101 Films. The AMC channel purchased a couple of my shorts. (Films that is.) I say Iâ€™m making a film but itâ€™s actually digital video. Thatâ€™s because digital video is much more accessible and cheaper that working with film that has to be processed before you can do anything with it. Digital is also easier to work with. For example, my film, â€œSomething Hiddenâ€ was shot in Dallas. I sent a rough copy by email to my composer friend, Daniel Walker, who lives in Los Angeles. He then composed the music and sent the final track back to me by email. That is awesome!? And not too difficult. With the internet the distribution possibilities are mind boggling. There are for sure many great things about using film, but for now, staying in the digital realm is working.

*stars - Robert Rodriguez, Susan Sarandon, Dave Navarro, Richard Linklater, Catherine Hardwicke, Oprah. - Add a few of my friends and that's an intersting dinner party!----------------------------------------------*Also like to meet other First and Second time filmmakers. Anybody who has ideas on internet distribution for films.------------------------------*Pliny Fisk and other architects who are building green and figuring out ways to live comfortably without depleting the earth's resources.
