I am here for Friends

About Me

In my second year of teaching. I have a Special Day Class with students who are Deaf/ Hard of Hearing. They are absolutely WONDERFUL... their smiles make my day. I still haven't applied to doctorate programs... but I DID apply and was admitted into a Level II Clear Credential Program. I should have my Level II Clear Credential by the end of 2009; if I work hard. I still miss Massachusetts. I hope to go back soon, if only for a short visit. I left a little piece of my heart there and I need to get it back!I am a pretty simple gal. I am happy, easy-going, and VERY close to my family. I've never been "popular" but I have always been blessed with wonderful friends. I LOVE to travel, and am always saving money for and looking forward to, my next vacation! I am hoping to go to Montreal for spring break to visit my dear friend that I miss and love so much! Planning on going to Chicago this summer... wanted to go to Spain but the Euro would KICK MY BUTT. It's costs $1.50 American dollars for a Euro... YIKES!

My Interests

Anyone that knows me knows that I LOVE Football. My Sunday's are soooo boring now that football season is over! September seems so far away! I am a HUGE HUGE Charger fan!! Go Bolts!!! I love my San Diego Chargers.

I'd like to meet:

My Man! Where is he already? Can't a girl get some love? A nice guy, that isn't intimidated by a smart girl. Comedic abilities a plus!

Music:

Anything that makes me want to dance... which is usually any type of music. Now that I have a NEW CAR I can choose between Talk Radio and music... it's a nice change.

Movies:

Jason Bourne is my hero.

Myspace Layouts at Pimp-My-Profile.com / Blue butterflies

Television:

GREY'S ANATOMY ... I love Dr. McDreamy! Law and Order: SVU, CSI: Las Vegas, and What Not to Wear on TLC! Stacy and Clinton are my fashion gurus!

Books:

I LOVE to read. I love to read text books for school, novels, short stories, magazines... anything I can get my hands on. I finished Barack Obama's "The Audacity of Hope"... AMAZING. He has my vote!

Heroes:

My parents. They have instilled in me the love of family, the appreciation of friends, and the ability to look beyond myself to see what is best for the greater good. Being a parent these days is tough, but my parents were able to show us how to become good people through EXAMPLE. That doesn't happen to often anymore... I am blessed.
