About Me

i was born at 4am at home in bunwell hill, norfolk, england. i am left handed.

one rainy afternoon, while contemplating the meaning of life, he decided to make leave and start out fresh. upon making such a decision, a certain amount of freedom was gained and the rope that tethered his soul to this finite cage was slackened. he packed up his possessions (that owned he) and made way to a thai-land; and arriving with a 'wai' and a 'krap' headed north. the young man was nothing and could have been anything, but destiny had its part to play. he floated on down, unaware of the river or the boat that made up the vehicle to his life. aided by the hidden hand, that rope was severed and he was plunged into the ocean of existence.

his mind proved to question his heart and so the path was changed. he could not follow his heart blindly and needed an understanding of the journey. he left all he knew to seek a new way and put his now puzzled mind at rest. to the chaotic streets of kolkata he was swept and traversed the land on rail, road and foot. he continued forward and searched the highs and the lows of the human experience to find a glimpse of that which he knew lay hidden underneath it all. and as he changed from heart to mind there was risk, for the transition was not clearly lit, but necessary. after having experienced uniting with himself and the world in the sub-continent, he lived unfulfilled and headed off to china to get lost yet again.

my life at this moment. what is life if it's not for the moment?

this too shall pass.

out beyond ideas of wrong-doing and right-doing, there is a field. i'll meet you there. when the soul lies down in that grass, the world is too full to talk about. ideas, language, even the phrase 'each other' doesn't make any sense.

we are what we think. all that we are arises with our thoughts. with our thoughts, we make our world.

what’s in a name? that which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet.

we travel, initially, to lose ourselves, and we travel, next, to find ourselves. we travel to open our hearts and eyes and learn more about the world than our newspapers will accommodate. we travel to bring what little we can, in our ignorance and knowledge, to those parts of the globe whose riches are differently dispersed. and we travel, in essence, to become young fools again -- to slow time down and get taken in, and fall in love once more.

what are you here for?

My Interests

snuggling up in clean sheets after a shower. watching the sun rise. running free. walking down crowded streets with headphones on. taking a nap in the afternoon when it's raining outside. singing loudly on the motorbike. waking up to the sound of birds singing. tasting something sour and having that salivary explosion. laughing from true joy. crying from true joy. eureka moments. smiling at strangers. reading in coffee shops. looking up at the stars. long walks at night. meditating. dawn. full moons. experiencing music. being comfortable with those around me. going crazy. love. being in the moment.

I'd like to meet:

lovers, dreamers, seers and believers
