Black Hollywood Productions is an Atlanta, Georgia based company formed to represent music artists by way of management representation and artist development; in conjunction with film, television, and theatre productions. Black Hollywood is one of the few nick names the city of Atlanta has embraced expressing similarities amongst the west-coast Hollywood, California which is known for lights, camera, action and relating that to the enormous success Atlanta natives( especially African Americans) have received through their ability to influence the music & film society. The city has grown tremendously over the years allowing artist such as Goodie Mob, Xscape, Outkast, Monica, Jermaine Dupri, Lil Jon, Usher, T.I., Ludacris, Jagged Edge, Youngblooz, Lloyd, Ying Yang Twins, Ciara, Dem Franchiz Boyz, 112, Young Jeezy, Keyshia Cole, Shop Boyz, Soulja Boy and many more the opportunity to display their talents. Their stardom have lead Atlanta to being one of the music’s/hip-hop capitals of the world while also developing into a major film market. “Drumline”, “Diary of a Mad Black Women”(all of Tyler Perry’s films), “The Fighting Temptations”, “ATL”, “The Gospel”, “Stomp the Yard”, “We are Marshall” are just to name a few. Although BHP acknowledges Atlanta as the Black Hollywood of the south, we are definitely interested in working with people of interest worldwide.
