About Me

I just love watching and making films! Can not think of doing anything more fun for work or relaxation. Hey, I even enjoy being in front of the camera sometimes. But, I avoid doing so whenever possible. But, if it wasn't for the movies, I would be lost. My background: My family is from Spain, Germany, and Ireland (the three "B's" - Basque, Bavarian, and Black Irish). All are fighters, drinkers, warriors, and true lovers of life, nature, food/drink, and culture (when they are not killing someone). My family has been in uniform (every generation) for nearly 230 years. Many are heroic figures. But, we are really old souls that truly understand enjoying the simple pleasures, love with passion, and living life to the fullest. We don't waste our time with the timid, that have known neither victory or defeat. Nor, will we embrace a weak, cowardly, or lost soul, that fails to seek true passion or true love in all things.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Sadly most of the the ones I really want to meet are dead. But of the living, I have been fortunate enough to have met scores of authors, politicians, actors, actresses, historical figures, musicians, athletes, super models, TV and industry moguls, directors, producers, photographers, etc. Here is the short list of 1000's plus who I have been privileged to meet, sit down and talk, or just hang out: Zenji Abe, George Clayton Johnson, Stephen Lang, Ron White, Gregory Boyington, Ted Turner, Dita Von Teese, Masajiro Kawato, Vihn Nguyen, the parents of Randall D. Shughart, Ben Carson, Randall D. Cunningham, Hirata Matsumura, Gold, Joe Foss, Erich Topp, Sen. Robert Kerrey, Adolf Galland, Sen. George McGovern, Sir John Hackett, Sam Elliot, Johnnie Johnson, Hans Georg Hess, Stephen Ambrose, dozens of 442nd RGT members and Tuskegee airmen, Doolittle Raiders, a 100+ MOH recipients, and 100's of others I consider an honor to have just been in their presence. Plus others that I will not list, as they are not worthy of the notoriety they enjoy.

My Blog

The penalty for stupidity is death!

It is said, "Contra la estupidez, los propios dioses luchan en vano..." or "Against stupidity, the gods themselves fight in vain..." Well if that is true (and I believe that it is), then I find mysel...
