Firstly, I'm a self confessed girly girl, I'm a strictly 'female' female and am known to be a snob. I'm not really. People tend to mistake my confidence for arrogance, though I'm pretty shy around people I don't know well, or who I'm attracted to. I'm not good with compliments as I've been brought up with a typical ballet mother, and dancing - especially ballet - is something that can never be perfected. Only improved apon. So, I'm more likely to believe a critisism about me than a compliment. I am getting better though.
I've been told that I tend to force my attitude on people - whatever that means.... i'm blunt and say what I think. I judge people and I know others judge me too. I have no problem with that - if you don't like it, its no skin off my nose. If you CAN cope with that, READ ON!!
I live in a little town in Tasmania, Australia, used to teach ballet, jazz, hip hop, modern lyrical, contemporary, Pilates and tap, but have a new career as a Travel Consultant, which so far is really cool - Lots of free or discounted travel - Love it!!
Always enjoy meeting new people - especially international people with fantastic accents (preferences on Irish, Scotish, French, Italian, South African, Spanish, Canadian (not so much American) and English accents - I don't know why - maybe the Sagittarius in me?).... But of course have a soft spot for a select few Aussies.
I like my men to be tall, muscular, but not body builder 'barrel-of-monkey-man' which you can hook their arms together and lower them out of the window of the gym - thats just a turn-off for me. I like tanned or chocolate colourd skin, dark hair, blue or green eyes and a killer smile. Dimples are a bonus. But all that said, if you're only in it for one thing, I'm not interested. True, I may come across as a nymphomaniac flirt (a cover), but its the only way for me to tell whether these gorgeous guys I meet are genuine or not. Call it a test, call me a prick tease bitch, or whtever you like, I'm protecting myself, because for years I've always put other people's happiness before my own. Now, everything I do, I do for me. My friends would tell me that its 'about bloody time!!'
As much as I love a quiet night in with take away Thai, Little Britain DVDs and a bottle of red, I love a great night out with the girls (when they're not pregnant, or looking after the kids they already have)- dancing to 'our songs' (they're all pretty sad - and we have 'routines' for each one...) and getting home at 8am (Though, lately its been more like 6pm - the following night)... My friends (who are all good looking, by the way... haha! I'm such a snob!) tend to get shitty with me cause I'm always talking to different people when I should be dancing with them and buying the next round. Free drinks from handsome strangers are always appreciated, provided they have something interesting to talk about, and don't assume that buying me a drink will buy my affection... (See above....)
I'm a touchy-feely person with those I'm comfortable with. If someone frustrates me, I can't help but be rude to them, even though I really don't want to be. I'm a very out-going, confident, happy person the majority of the time, and if I get hurt by someone, I generally tend to shut down, rather than be confronting or agressive. That said, I have got my own back on a select few people, and now things between them and I are pretty cool. Lucky we don't live in the same state!
I love fashion, but never tend to follow current trends (Example - I HATE those smock tops which make whoever is wearing them look pregnant!). I pretty much live in my Puma or Adidas tracksuits, but won't be seen dead without make-up. I'm a shoe FREAK! (See below...) I love Gucci Rush, Elige, Lolita Lempika, Chanel No.19, cK one, Armani Aqua de Gio and Givenchy Pi fragrances - If i smell one of the latter on a hot guy, I melt. I also love a man in a suit.
I've been known to love black men. I love watching soccer - Lucas Neil, Thierry Henry, Ronaldhino and Edgar Davids are my favourite players. Other members of the male species who I love are Il Divo (especially Urs - the Swiss one! HOTT!!), Johnny Depp, Eric Bana, Wil Smith, George Clooney, Orlando Bloom, Michael Ealy (Spread him on a Cracker!!), Terrence Dashon Howard (OMG!! HOTT!) and the Wayans Brothers (yes, all of them!) - haha!
I'm addicted to shopping - for shoes especially, but I'm going to get help one day. I actually don't own as many pairs as what people think I do. I mean, 73 pairs (recent update) isn't a lot, is it?
I love KFC zinger burgers without lettuce or mayo, fried tofu, chicken nuggets, baileys, frangelico, paraiso lychee liqueur, zen green tea liqueur, cadbury Boost bars, lindt chocolate and apple/mango juice mmmmmmmmmmm! If you want to win me over, take me shoe shopping and then buy me lots of chocolate! I really hate toast crumbs in the butter, when the cold water bottle in the fridge isn't filled up and when pasta sticks to the bottom of the saucepan.
UPDATE!!! HAVE JUST BEEN ABUSED BY A VERY GOOD FRIEND (NO NAMING OF NAMES HERE, JAMAL!) ABOUT MY LACK OF MENTIONING MY TOTAL ADORATION OF LEBANESE BAKERY FOOD FROM A1 IN SYDNEY RD, BRUNSWICK (ZATAAR, KOFTA AND CHEESE PIE - SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD!!!) AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, WHAT COMES AFTERWARDS, WHICH IS THE LEBANESE SWEETS FROM EL FAYHA - BAKLAVA, NUMOORA/HARISSA AND THE SUNDAY SPECIAL: KENEFFEH!!! LOTS OF SUGAR SYRUP, LOTS OF PISTACHIOS, LOTS OF $$ SPENT AT THESE 2 PLACES -JUST ON FOOD- WHEN I'M IN MELBOURNE :)
I love taking the piss out of people - can be quite amusing if they can laugh at themselves. I love dancing, music, keeping fit - especially sit ups! I love the feeling after a good workout and stretching session. That said, I love my bed!
I'm planning my 1st trip overseas in December this year - either London or New York. I haven't totally made up my mind yet, but London seems less scary... Have been told to save up for my shoe shopping addiction and the 'Jack the Ripper' tour... Have had a revelation about overseas in the middle of our summer. Am NOW considering Jamaica - I've always wanted to go there, and so am looking into flights and packages and all that... Am pretty excited and have started packing little things away already. I should probably organise a passport too at some stage... Good thing am updating this NOW, and arranged my passports, casue ma leaving for London NEXT WEEK!!!! Will keep you updated on that one..... Eh eh ehhhhh!
UPDATE!!.... HAVE JSUT RETURNED FROM LONDON AND MUNICH - WAS TOTALLY AWESOME. MET SOME GREAT PEOPLE (AND SOME TOTAL LOSERS) AND NOW HAVE CAUGHT THE TRAVEL BUG - CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK!! OR, DO I START PLANNING THE "BIG" ONE?? - THE 30TH IN 4 YEARS - JAMAICA MAN! HAHA! ALSO WAITING ON THE POSSIBILITY OF A CRUISESHIP CONTRACT.... SO MORE TRAVEL OPPORTUNITIES THERE SHOULD THAT GO AHEAD... AUDITIONS FIRST, ANYWAY. UNTIL THEN, THERE'S ALWAYS MELBOURNE xx
If you do wrong by me, I tend to get not only get mad - I get even! It'd have to be pretty heavy stuff for me to want revenge on someone - toying with my friends, business, emotions etc will get you there!
It takes me a bit of time for me to do this revenge thing though. A lot of planning and assistance from my bondage and discipline loving friend Rach is all key in the planning! There are certain people who can back this up if you don't believe me.... lol
