At only 28, Pittsburghian Gift, founder and member of hip hop group Burgtown, has already been nominated at all four annual Pittsburgh Hip-Hop Awards, while he’s only been recording music for five years. Self taught Gift has become very seasoned at the art of creating music, from rapping to producing, writing, performing, and even a little directing. Gift betters his craft by performing at different venues, De jaVue, Ludic, Huka Lounge, Shadow Lounge, and Hip-Hop Buffets, just to name a few. He has been on approximately 20+ mix tapes both local and national featuring many established musicians. His group Burgtown has released “We Here Now”, a mix tape and “The Missing Piece to the Puzzle”, their first album, and are in the process of releasing their second, “The Food Stamp Gourmet”. Gift has many projects in the working and intends to work with anyone who has the same raw passion for music as he does…...
