Reputation is what others think you are. Character is what God knows you are.

About Me

I work to much and party to hard for my own good. I prefer a boring day spent in good company to an exciting day spent with fake people. I believe that God gives you only what you can handle, with his help, of course. I believe that people are inherently good but sometimes need some guidance to show it. I hate when people run from things, if it scares you that much it must mean something to you. I think people take life to serious. I believe that life is just a journey and in the long run it doesn't matter what anyone here on Earth thinks of you or says about you. Cause in the long run your opinion of yourself is the only one that counts; but you should use feedback from others to test the view you have of yourself. Do others see you the way you think they do? If not maybe that's something to work on. I think money means nothing if your not happy, and even less if you use it selfishly. I believe that everyone has the potential to do wonderful powerful things and I've started to work towards the things that I'd like to do, and finding the things that make me happy. Lately I've discovered and in some cases rediscovered some pretty amazing people. I just wish sometimes that I was better at letting people know how important, special, and wonderful they are. I work too much and play too hard for my own good. I can be your best friend or your worst and sometimes both. I usually know a lot more then I let on, and use it when making decisions. If you're really lucky I might just fill you in on everything I know about you one day!TWO FRIENDS WERE WALKING THROUGH THE DESERT. DURING SOME POINT OF THE JOURNEY, THEY HAD AN ARGUMENT; AND ONE FRIEND SLAPPED THE OTHER ONE IN THE FACE. THE ONE WHO GOT SLAPPED WAS HURT, BUT WITHOUT SAYING ANYTHING, WROTE IN THE SAND:TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SLAPPED ME IN THE FACE.THEY KEPT ON WALKING, UNTIL THEY FOUND AN OASIS, WHERE THEY DECIDED TO TAKE A BATHTHE ONE WHO HAD BEEN SLAPPED GOT STUCK IN THE MIRE AND STARTED DROWNING, BUT THE FRIEND SAVED HIM.AFTER HE RECOVERED FROM THE NEAR DROWNING, HE W ROTE ON A STONE:"TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SAVED MY LIFE ".THE FRIEND WHO HAD SLAPPED AND SAVED HIS BEST FRIEND ASKED HIM, "AFTER I HURT YOU, YOU WROTE IN THE SAND AND NOW, YOU WRITE ON A STONE, WHY?"THE FRIEND REPLIED "WHEN SOMEONE HURTS US WE SHOULD WRITE IT DOWN IN SAND, WHERE WINDS OF FORGIVENESS CAN ERASE IT AWAY. BUT, WHEN SOMEONE DOES SOMETHING GOOD FOR US, WE MUST ENGRAVE IT IN STONE WHERE NO WIND CAN EVER ERASE IT."LEARN TO WRITE YOUR HURTS IN THE SAND AND TO CARVE YOUR BENEFITS IN STONE.

My Interests

A little bit of everything...From SCUBA to DRINKING, SKIING,CAMPING and more...

I'd like to meet:

People who aren't fake, and afraid. I hate it when people run from the uncomfortable. The brave are the one's willing to try something with out knowing how it will wind up. Those are the people I'd like to meet. Oh And this guy...

Movies:

Don't get to see many in theaters, but I've gotten a few good bootlegs lately

Television:

When I get to watch it, House, CSI, 24, Law & Order, Studio 60

Books:

Most recently I bought a book to help me evaluate the effort it will take to realize one of my dreams, "Starting and Building a Nonprofit: A Practical Guide"

Heroes:

I used to have a lot of people that I thought of as heroes, but then you realize that they're nothing special. Those that have managed to remain heroes of mine are: My parents- If you've met them I don't need to explain. My brothers- They taught me to not give a shit what anyone thinks, or has to say; and it truly is a better way to live.

My Blog
