Based in Bournemouth, the band consists of experienced professional musicians who are happy to bring sophisticated, mellow and joyful sounds anywhere in London or the South Coast. Please feel free to email us at [email protected]

A Bossa Imensa's sets consist of Bossa Nova classics and examples of Musica Popular Brazileira, all sung in Brazilian. As well as Jazz from a selection of styles including swing to modern. Along with an extensive collection of original songs pulling from their experience of Latin Jazz.

Regina Rainey has had many years experience of touching the soul of an audience and has shone in an incredibly wide variety of genres and venues. From the wild wind-blown frenzy of thrash metal on continental beaches with Eden, the stonking nights spent with QQ Garage performing Blues, R n B, Funk and Soul to her work with the nationally acclaimed Portuguese Trigo Limpo Theatre Company's production of Faldum. A show whose pyrotechnic content required castles as a setting.
Regina returned to Britain and developed her performance experience by studying formal music education. She graduated with a BA (Hons) Music Design, applying her technical skills to cinematic soundtracks and specializing in composing music for contemporary dance. It was during this process that she grew to appreciate jazz composition. It was her empathy with Bossa Nova which sparked a passion for this music. A Bossa Imensa performances reflect this passion.
Native to the Black Forest, Germany, Wolfgang has developed an extremely competent and tasteful style. He has been playing guitar for over 15 years in various bands covering everything stylistically from Jazz, Fusion, Blues, R n B, Funk, Rock and Reggae. He moved to England in 1996 where he studied at the Musician's Institute in London. This opened up his ears to improvised music like Jazz & Fusion.........'nice'!
