I am here for Dating, Serious Relationships and Friends

About Me

Here are some things that are true about me: I believe in homeostasis, having ideas about stuff without blindly clinging to them, paying it forward, that one person CAN change the world, and in trying to live by the golden rule. Having fun is a serious priority in my life. I thrive on being silly and happy. I'm developing an irrational fear of monkeys. I'm repulsed by foamy substances like bubbles and whipped cream. I'm frugal, honest, and VERY affectionate. I like working hard both mentally and physically. Also, I pronounce crayon like "crown".Also, I play Roller Derby with the Nashville Rollergirls . We just finished our first and fabulous season, and I even got to jam in the last game! See this video for proof.

My Interests

alphabetizing, arts and crafts, brains, comparing things that aren't comparable (eg. which do you like more: a mixed tape from a friend or a beautiful sunset?), curved + jagged lines, dancing, floating, learning, lucid dreams, organizing, photography, reflections (of light and of mind), singing, talking about Oberlin!, things that glow in the dark, thinking about how adaptation and attention guide our perception of the world around us, water

I'd like to meet:

I'd love to meet Jon Brion, but I'm afraid I'd pass out from the excitement that seeing him would produce. Other famous people I'd like to meet include Fiona Apple, Jon Stewart, Conan O'Brien, Jack Black. I would say that I'd also like to meet Rhett Miller, but I actually did that at his last concert in Nashville and it rocked my socks off. Hopefully that's a sign that bodes well for me meeting these other folks.
In general I'd like to meet people who like to hang out and have fun, especially if their concepts of fun include dancing, swimming, watching movies, skating, and acting stupid.
