Band Members: CEO of TONEDEF/MC/Balladeer Jona Crooner,27 is a Birmingham, Alabama native.Raised in the Kingston projects and bred in a small ghetto community called "Cross Tenth' he began singing at the young age of 9 in his local church after losing many childhood friends to the situations of his environment Jona concentrated on music usually writing and creating songs that he kept to himself in his High School days Jona studied Music and Fine Arts which helped him go on to win several State and National competitions. With his strong vibrant voice, this background supplied him with the skills, knowledge and discipline needed for a musical future. His gospel choir background gave him a foundation to build an R&B sound as well a versatile flow in which he credits to his childhood days freestyling in the projects with his free vibe and artistic vision he has come from the violent streets of Birmingham to perform in Japan, Canada, England, China and the United States.TONEDEF's First Queen, Cakes,25 is a true diamond from Cincinnati, Ohio finally coming into her own.. America's Top Curvaceous Model turned MC Cakes is certainly not the first female rapper, but she is well on her way to becoming a bona fide STAR.
