Webster Poe

Webster Poe is a band that formed in high school in Kankakee (K3 Represent!). Core members Ben Peters, Travis McCue, and Bill Richardson played various gigs w/ a variety of revolving guests until finding a hired gun in Jake Collins. From there they hit the bar circuit; playing for anywhere between 10 and 500 people. Something was missing. After a short hiatus in which Travis and Bill met up w/ now drummer Jamie Stewart they were drawn to then keyboardist for the infamous Lefty band, Scott Mast. Now five strong w/ Ben Bill Jake Travis and Scott; the band hit the circuit once again and hit the studio. They enjoyed that lineup until Ben left to pursue higher education in late '07. Enter Jamie Stewart. Jamie was the missing push the band was waiting for. Furiously progressive and maturely humble; Jamie moved the band into more serious territory. Unexplored territory. Webster Poe is now, FINALLY, after this long journey, doing battle at Outerplanet Studio in South Southside Chicago. And they're winning. Look for the new album very very soon.
