About Me

I'm 25. I like people...my job...music...movies...books...theatre...food...sleeping...w ine...good conversation. I don't like black licorice...drivers when I'm a pedestrian/pedestrians when I'm a driver...having to go to my job everyday...people who play games (not board games, head games)...chapped lips...or pouty actresses like keira knightly. Really I have a lot more depth...but you find that out in the other sections.Stay gold Pony Boy.

Music:

Underground/Conscious Hip Hop (esp. Atmosphere, Immortal Technique, C-Rayz Walz....for right now anyways!), Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Nina Simone, Billie Holiday, Weezer, The Modern Lovers, Bob Marley and the Wailers, Jill Scott, The Beatles, The Who, CCR, The Clash, The Pretenders, Operation Ivy, The Be Good Tonya's, Tegan and Sara, Melissa Ferrick, God-Dess, Rilo Kiley, Los Hijos Unicos... that's all I can think of as of now...but there is a hell of a lot more!

Movies:

The Breakfast Club, Harold and Maude, The Usual Suspects, Cruel Intentions, American Beauty, ANYTHING with Johnny Depp, Say Anything, Bamboozled, Slam, The Wedding Singer, But I'm A Cheerleader, American History X, A Beautiful Thing....again, there are more that aren't coming to me right now!

Family Guy, Homicide (sadly was cancelled awhile back!), South Park, Chapelle Show, Cheers, Roseanne, Punky Brewster....I just realized that most of these shows have been cancelled or ended! New Editions: Sex and the City, The Sopranos, The L Word, Queer As Folk...now that I have discovered the beauty of renting TV on DVD there will probably be more!

Books:

The Passion by Jeanette Winterson, Prodigal Summer by Barabara Kingsolver, Anything by Isabel Allende, In the Time of the Butterflies by Julia Alvarez, and finally: The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck...one of the most incedible classics ever written!
