I love playing soccer-indoor and outdoor, I love watching soccer on tv...especially MLS...its all about the Chicago Fire. I love traveling, I'd love to go to places like Ireland, Greece, and Alaska, and I set a goal of visiting each of the 50 states. I love camping and reading and writing and listening to music, and sleeping and working hard at everything and anything. I love being around my friends, and I wouldn't be me without my Chicago family, I love my Godson (Eamonn), he means the world to me. If ya couldn't tell...Chicago is my second home, I love it there. Basically I'm interested in pretty much anything...
I'd like to meet:
Jodi Picoult, the most amazing author on this earth. I want to get into her head, i wanna know how she comes up with her amazing novels. I only wish that one day i could write like her! Miranda Lambert because she is a freaking badass, and Chris Armas because he will always be my hero/role model/inspiration and he's retiring this year! 14's for life!!! Kelly Gray because...I'll just say it, I want to get in his pants, and oh yeah, I'd also love to meet the Little Mermaid because she is me with fins. I LOVE HER!!!
Music:
I guess I'll listen to pretty much anything that anyone puts on...although I hate rap with a passion. Country music is where my heart is and will always be. Just a few of my favorites ;-) are: Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts, Tim McGraw, Terri Clark, Jessica Andrews, Sara Evans, Martina McBride, Dixie Chicks, Kenny Chesney, Shania Twain, Bonnie Rait, Faith Hill, Jamie O'Neal, George Strait, Garth Brooks, Gary Allan, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Deana Carter, Miranda Lambert, Brad Paisely, Trick Pony, Rachel Proctor, Gretchen Wilson, Jimmy Wayne, Brian McComas, Julie Roberts, Reba, Katrina Elam, Blue County, Emerson Drive, Toby Keith, Dierks Bently, Nickel Creek, Sheryl Crow, Mandy Moore, Matchbox 20, Switchfoot, Creed, 3 Doors Down, Black Eyed Peas, Kelly Clarkson, N SYNC, Ashlee Simpson, Howie Day, Ingram Hill, The Corrs, Van Zant, Bobby Pinson, Blake Shelton
Movies:
Lord of the Rings (all 3), Hidalgo, Where The Heart Is, Love and Basketball, I. Robot, Cinderella Story, The Notebook, The Goonies, Miracle, Ladder 49, Indiana Jones (all of them), Bend it Like Beckham, Supertroopers (Meow), Dirty Dancing, Ghost (only movie that can make me cry every time), History of Violence, X-Men, Just Like Heaven, Prime, Tristan and Isolde. Don't really have a favorite kind of movie, but if I had to pick, I'd pick love stories...but only if the two people end up together in the end.
Television:
ESPN, WB, Fox...pretty much anything if I have time but mostly sports. They got rid of two of my favorite shows: 7th Heaven and Everwood, but some of my other favorites include One Tree Hill (this show is the shit), Lost, Real World, OC, Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, and I love the crime shows like CSI...the original is the best, Miami and New York are ok, and all of the Law and Order shows
Books:
Jodi Picoult has got to be the most amazing author around. Her words are magic and each one of her books is amazing in its own way. I also love Where The Heart Is, I Know This Much Is True, Captain For Life, The Beautiful Game, and the Lord of the Rings Trilogy...who wouldn't want to be a part of that magically believable world, John Steinbeck is pretty awesome. I can't stand trashy romance novels or "fluff" books, if I'm going to read something, it has to be long and involved and there has to be a lot to it!
Heroes:
My Godson: i love him more than anyone else in my family. How one little boy can hold a family together is beyond me. He is special, amazing, and I would do anything for him.
Chris Armas: my sports hero. He's persevered through so many injuries and he's still playing and he's an amazing person. He's had so many hard breaks but he always makes it out on top.
