I am a happily married mother of 4...but at the time we have 5 children. Maike is staying with us from Germany, and has become a wonderful addition to our family. Todd and I have been married for 20 years...not all of them perfect years...but I'm so glad we stuck it out. Being married to your best friend is a blessing. We are as close now as we were when we met. (Although we would love to kill each other every now and then). My family is crazy...but I wouldn't trade them for the world. You can imagine how insane our household is with 5 children. Zach will be 20 next month and is planning an eventual move to Alaska. Tanner will be 18 in 2 weeks...we are starting to visit colleges and meet with coaches for wrestling. We go to University of Wisconsin-Whitewater on Saturday. Maike just turned 16. She is in the school play this week, and is planning on joining the speech team. She's interested in some type of sport while she is here in America, but hasn't quite decided which. Jordan (the princess) will be 15 next week. She has her first highschool boyfriend...something I don't know if I'm real happy about. She cheers for her highschool football and basketball teams, and enjoys gymnastics. Delaynie (the baby of the family) will be 10 in January. She's a handful. She's used to getting her way...and isn't very happy on the rare occassion that she doesn't. She tried the whole girlscout thing for about 4 months...not her cup of tea. I can't imagine where that comes from. She's addicted to computer games and can play rock band with "big boys". I'm happy with my life, my family, my friends, and my job. Turning 40 was very liberating...I think I'll do it again...and again...and again.
