Yes, we know what you’re thinking, “great, another one of those girl groups”. Well, let’s not jump into conclusion. They’ve been hailed as the next SWV, TLC, and even been labeled as Destiny’s Child divas. M'Rge creatively combines the elements that other girl groups are lacking. These ladies have a sound of there own, with their hip-hop choreography, southern R&B vibe and pop iconic image. Music is missing the essence of real live talent, and star quality. That’s what Kama, Trisha and Cynthia brings to the stage. This is not your ban-wagon female pop group, so take a rain check. Since the form of M’Rge in 2006, they have caught the ears and eyes of many DJs, promoters, signed/unsigned artist, club managers, and radio stations. Not to mention, they have established a local and online fan base through the help of Myspace and Youtube, making them the only blazing hot girl group from South Florida. On stage you can feel their high energy, powerful voices, pop lyrics, which everyone in the audience, young and old, can relate to. M’Rge was also featured in the Deerfield and Delray Beach local newspaper competing with over a hundred acts coming in at 3rd place, as a result, the buzz for their name was poppin’. Fort Lauderdale is the city where Kama Del Valle, Trisha Edwards, and Cynthia Desir were raised as childhood friends. Before they were M’Rge, in the fall of 2002 both Kama Del Valle and Trisha Edwards where a duo called Kam-Mys-Tri at the age of sixteen. They’ve performed at many venues, countless shows and have been opening acts for big name artist like Ginuwine and Pretty Ricky. As years passed on, a third member was the sound and image that they needed. With the task at hand and many misunderstanding members, Cynthia Desir was the perfect fit. Combining their personality, style and voice; one word is enough to describe these young ladies, FIERCE! While still rising from the dirty south, there’s known history of bad girl groups gone wrong, M’Rge is bond to take flight. It’s a new error and determination to make their dreams come true these ladies are well on their way to being beyond “The Next Big Thing”. Kama, Trisha and Cynthia have been working diligently on their craft. They’ve been seen performing their original music at local clubs, talent shows, school and church functions, open bars and venues, showcases and events. They’ve learned early, while in the music industry, practicing your dreams everyday takes you one step closer to your destiny; practice makes perfect. Being, young, talented and beautiful might be one thing, but having a God given talent can never be formulated. You’ve heard the saying “Don’t believe the hype”- well if it shoots like a star and shines like a star, what you’ve got are natural born SUPERSTARS!
