Madio is Madio aka TexT. Straight Outta Canton, MI (Detroit for those who don’t know) and brings the feel of the sub to the urban from MySpace to your home.
Since 1996, Madio aka TexT has done nothing but eat, sleep, and breathe hip hop. In 96, Madio started the Hip Hop duo Verb. Being the main writing and performing force behind the group, Madio aka TexT knew from then on that hip hop would never die. In 99, Madio, along with VeRb, performed for their whole school and the performance buzz has been feeding his high ever since. Performing from Canton to Redford, from Plymouth to Detroit, from Westland to Ann Arbor, From Detroit to Atlanta….. This Emcee just Can’t stop. After making connections with everyone from Craig King (producer behind “Good Life†by Kanye West) to Jeff Robinson (famous recording engineer) to Choir Boi (A&R for DTP records), it seemed that things could only go up.
After a fall out with his group VeRb though, Madio aka TexT had to make some adjustments……
Since 2007 Madio aka TexT has been making music going solo, and going strong! 2008 was the year that really catapulted Madio to a new level with the Release of his debut solo album called SUBURBAN BREAD. Once again, things can only go up for this emcee and when the sky is the limit, there are always new stars to explore. Madio aka TexT is here to stay. Burbs to the Hood…… Are you Suburban Bread?
