Krigavar is a pagan/folk metal band formed in early september 2007. Nick, the founding member, asked Bram and Lisa if they would like to play in a band. After a few months Nick and Bram began writing songs.
But they still needed a drummer. At the end of january 2008 they finally found a drummer, Jurgen, and a second guitarist, Stefano. So the line-up was complete.
Unfortunately Jurgen passed away. But after some weeks we found another drummer named Stijn (guitarist in Bandersnatch, www.myspace.com/melodicbandersnatch). We did some rehearsals and they went good. We kicked Stefano and Viktor (drummer in Bandersnatch) replaced him. So the line-up was complete again but more powerful than before.
The music can best be described as pagan metal with folk influences and lyrics about war and mythology.
