El Nino

El Nino aka Spyros Vasileiou was born in Athens in 1985.At the age of 17 he began spinning in some local parties. After graduating high school and moving on to the University of Mytilene he became a professional dj and specifically resident dj of Caldo lounge cafe bar,which used to be one of the best cafe bars of the island of Mytilene.Nowadays he made the big move from Caldo,to Monkey and My Club which are considered the best clubs in North Aegean Sea. During this period he has shared the decks with big names such as: Way Out West,Dennis Ferrer,Sandy Rivera,Mar-T(resident dj @ Amnesia Ibiza),Joyce Mercedes,Nick Varon(resident dj @ Venue Athens),V-Sag,Nikola Gala and many more. From 2003,he is a resident dj @ Kiss Fm Mytilene and from 2006,he also holds a residency @ Frisky Radio,one of the most famous internet radios across the globe.The show at Frisky Radio has been going remarkably well which resulted to collaborations with internationally respected artists such as Paolo Mojo,Nic Fanciulli,Jody Wisternoff,Kosmas Epsilon,Steve Mill and more. In addition,from 2005 and for 4 consecutive years so far he has been selected as the resident dj for the Amnesia Ibiza World Tour in Greece. He has started music production and already composed a track along with his mate George Papathanasiou called ''Still Don't Know'' under the project ''The Black Ties'' which is gonna be printed alongside one of the next Freeze magazine's issues. On September 2007 he was invited to headline @ Earthdance Festival in Sofia which he did with great success alongside artists such as Snake Sedrick,Tom Budden,Banco De Gaia and Ian Ion. His guest dj sets at Amnesia Ibiza in 2006 and 2008 are considered to be the biggest highlights in his short career so far.
