Hi. My name is Armando Rosales. I'm a Musician, Producer, Composer and Arranger. Owner of AfterDark Recording and ALG Productions. Part Time Personal Banker and Full Time Dad. When I was eight years old I found some old Beatles records and fell in love with the sound of the guitar. I begged my parents to buy me a guitar for Christmas but they probably thought like most parents do that I wouldn't really learn how to play and that the guitar would collect dust in the closet. Well, they relented (children can be so persistent) and I've been playing music ever since. Playing the guitar has given me the experience to be on tour opening for the famous cumbia group La Sonora Dinamita and later on tour with SF Spanish Fly which the highlight was being on the same bill as Duran Duran. I also have written and produced for various artists throughout the years including Angelina, SF Spanish Fly, Octaviano, Ana Daysi etc. I have worked with some great musicians at my studio AfterDark Recording such as John Popper of Blues Traveler, Chino Nunez of Spanish Harlem Orchestra, Bobby Vega of Tower of Power, Arcelio Garcia of Malo, Gibby Ross of Journey/Sammy Hagar, Greg Errico of Sly and the Family Stone and many more. The highlight so far though has been having some of my songs/productions released on Warner Brothers. Still looking for that magical artist to record a hit record. Maybe I'll find him or her on Myspace. One never knows!
