Georgia Dagaki

Short Bio
Georgia Dagaki was born on the Greek island of Crete. She began playing the lyra and singing in front of an audience at the age of 16. Georgia combines the skill of an accomplished musician with the tender passion of a young singer.
She has recorded and performed with many renowned Greek musicians and will be releasing her second personal CD toward the end of 2008. Since February 2008, she has been performing with her own band, producing a more modern and rock sound, while maintaining her traditional & ethnic roots.
During this summer, Georgia Dagaki will be performing with the award winning composers Evanthia Reboutsika and Panayiotis Kalantzopoulos, the talented and renowned greek singer Elli Paspala and The Street Orchestra.
She will also be playing as the support for Goran Bregovic’s concerts in various cities of Greece.

Corta biografía
Georgia Dagaki nació en la isla griega de Creta. Toca la lira y actua desde cuando tenía 16 anos. Georgia combina la habilidad tecnica de una música experta y la passion tierna de una cantante joven.
Ha grabado sus primeros discos y interpretado junto a muy conocidos musicos y compositores griegos. Sacará su segundo CD personal hacia los finales de 2008.
Desde el febrero de 2008, Georgia ha sido actuando con su propia banda, con un sonido mas rock y moderno, sin perder su origen tradicional y étnico.
Durante el verano, Georgia Dagaki actuara junto a los premiados compositores y músicos Evancía Reboutsika and Panayiotis Kalantzopoulos, la dotada y conocida cantante griega Elli Paspalá y “La Orquestra de la Calle”.
Ademas, abrira los conciertos de Goran Bregovic en varios sitios de grecia.
