Influences: House music originated in Chicago. DJ Frankie Knuckles originally popularized house music while working at a nightclub called The Warehouse. Chicago house is the earliest style of house music Starting around 1981 Chicago's 102.7 FM WBMX that featured house mix shows with local DJs, like the Hot Mix 5, which featured DJs Ralph Rosario, Mickey "Mixin" Oliver, Scott "Smokin" Silz, Kenny "Jammin" Jason, and most famously Farley "Jackmaster" Funk. These radio shows were very influential on the house scene in Chicago.Growing up experiencing this phenomenal musical scene of Chicago DJs has influenced my love for music an inspiration for my passion to continue the success and style of Chicago House Music.
