Setters & Reed Custom Drums is a newly emerging custom drum company from Pasadena, Maryland. We offer your dream kit, hand crafted for you, for less than an arm and a leg. Setters & Reed understands that you need those limbs, or else you cannot play the drums you order.
The variety of drums we offer is only limited to your mind, although we insist your drums are within certain dimensions. Snares between 6†and 16†in diameter, toms between 6†and 20†in diameter, and kick drums from 16†to 28†in diameter.
We use Keller Maple Shells, which are the same shells that the high end custom drum builders use, such as OCDP, Spaun, and C&C. We also offer birch and mahogany shells by request. We use a 6 ply shell for our toms, 8 ply shell for our kick drums, and 10 ply shell for our snares.We also offer acrylic snares for a price so low its amazing.(ask us!)
Thousands of different finishes are offered, including wraps, stains, dies, an automotive finish, or something very exotic such as fur, or suede.
