Always drawing from life experience, Max's second track entitled "Serious", tells about overcoming obstacles and getting down to business. the music business has a tendancy to catogorize its artists, squeezing them into genres such as r & b, soul, pop, or latin. But the singer/songwriter and multi-talented Max Demian born in Mexico, DF, has a problem with such stereotyping, especially since he fits comfortably into each of the aformentioned genres. "my people, the latino people, dont categorizr thier music". says Max. "music isnt pop, rock or soul. if its good its good, and there's no need for categories. that was something i had to learn when i came to Chicago. he continues "people expect you to describe your music within the boundries that already exist - and i didnt know how to do that. I still dont", Max proves this statement trough his past records all of different genres, "I dont just wanna sing one style, Music is music, i sing what ever i feel like singing".
