Well...As you may have noticed, the show to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation got put on hold. The lack of support from SO many venues came as a surprise to all of us and thus we were forced to miss our goal of having the show by March or April. A lot has changed since that time, and I hope to be doing some kind of event, whether it be a show or some other type of fundraiser, in the near future. There's not a whole lot I can do from here in Canada, but as soon as I'm back I hope to get the team and put our heads together to come up with a real plan for doing something great. I also hope we can have the same support from our original donating companies and bands, and hope for a lot more. Overall, I'm feeling re-energized and want this project to keep going forward.
I also need help from all of you. If you have ANY ideas for ANYTHING AT ALL please let us know. Have all of your friends add this page- the link is myspace.com/supportcff.
And also- feel free to post anything that's on your mind. I want this profile to be a forum for everyone who wants to help, as well as for everyone who's effected by CF in any way. Feel free to post pictures, links to other CF-oriented pages, and anything else you can think of.
-One Love,
Kevin (C4CF)

What Is Cystic Fibrosis?Cystic fibrosis is an inherited chronic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system of about 30,000 children and adults in the United States (70,000 worldwide). A defective gene and its protein product cause the body to produce unusually thick, sticky mucus that:clogs the lungs and leads to life-threatening lung infections; and
obstructs the pancreas and stops natural enzymes from helping the body break down and absorb food.
In the 1950s, few children with cystic fibrosis lived to attend elementary school. Today, advances in research and medical treatments have further enhanced and extended life for children and adults with CF. Many people with the disease can now expect to live into their 30s, 40s and beyond.

Wanna help us out? Here's how you can:
There are plenty of ways you can help out with the C4CF project! First and foremost, helping to spread the word on what we're doing to all of your friends is probably the most helpfull thing that you can do. Another easy thing to do is post our flyer in a bulletin and tell people about C4CF as well as adding (myspace.com/supportcff) to your myspace name. Lastly, if you have any connections whatsoever to any companies that would be willing to donate, or any bands that would be willing to play, talk to them about it and let us know if they can help out! Thank you so much for the support!
