Egotism's Anesthesia

He who makes a beast of himself gets rid of the pain of being a man.

About Me

Adventure Time

Since Ty stole my video:

My Interests

Expensive booze, cheap women, history, theology and pondering philosophies of life in general tend to consume most of my time (When I'm not gaming). I do care greatly about spirituality, but not in the sense of having "Found Jesus" in my life. I prefer to not brainwash myself without first delving into the entirety of a religious belief. No I'm not suggesting that being Christian means you're brainwashed, I consider myself Christian still. I just have no love of organized churches and self-proclaimed authorities on the matter.

I'm generally not one for these quizzes, but I thought it interesting I came across this not long ago:
You are a Self-Discoverer
You're not religious, but you've created your own kind of spirituality.
Introspective and thoughtful, you tend to look inward for the divine.
You are distrusting of all forms of organized religion.
You especially dislike religious gurus and leaders, who you feel are charlatans. What's Your Religious Philosophy?

I'd like to meet:

We're not acquainted I'm afraid.

Music:

Uhh... Pretty damn diverse. I grew up on oldies (Beach Boys, Beatles) which turned into a popish phase when I hit 5th grade (Lotsa Smash Mouth). After that I think I went into a Simon & Garfunkle funk that lasted god knows how long, but finally have settled on mostly rock/metal bands. Although presently I am going through a lesbian music phase of mostly Sarah McLachlan and Alanis Morisette~Black Sabbath, Metallica, Disturbed, Mudvayne, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Static-X, System of a Down, Korn, Breaking Benjamin, Offspring, Slipknot, Sum 41, Third Eye Blind, Tenacious D, Godsmack #1!

Movies:

Can't say I watch em terribly often. Really I just don't feel there's enough sex in all these sex and violence films. Some decent ones include: Animal House, Big Trouble in Little China, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars (Super Extended Collector's Original Edition obv~)Favorite Movie: Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (See it~)

Television:

South Park, The Simpsons, House, Heroes, various anime

Books:

Tolkein, Niven, Heinlen, Asimov, and any sort of religious texts.

Heroes:

Nobody is better than me, I've borrowed a lot from people that come close. My sister later in life (She used to be mean to me~)... Okay I guess just my sister~

Stop the h8

It has recently come to my attention that a number of people I am, regrettably, acquainted with, feel that coconuts are gross.  Statistically speaking, this should be nigh impossible, and therefo...
