project 10 is an organization in montreal that works to promote the personal, social, sexual and mental well being of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, transsexual, two-spirit, intersex and questioning youth and adults age 14-25. We do this through advocacy, education, support and empowerment of our LGBTIQ youth. Services are free of charge, confidential and anonymous, and are offered in English and French.
SUPPORT.
Our services include a listening line, drop-in centre, on-line support, and our annual summer camp. We offer peer-counselling and promote suicide prevention, sex education, and mental well being. We are a community center guided and shaped by youth participation.
RESOURCES.
We produce educational resources on health for transsexual, transgendered and questioning youth. Youth come to us and we address their needs; if we don’t offer the services that they need, then we can help find what they’re seeking!
COMMUNITY.
Our office and our drop-in centre is a space for youth to connect with one another. We promote conversation on community, identity, sexual health, and well being. We offer educational programming and a free, healthy meal to the youth who come to our weekly drop-in night.
