Okay, I've recently been advised by a close friend and my mentor, that she wishes I could be what she sees in me...Well, lets just say that I'm a Work-in-progress. I've been sober now for 4 plus years. It's been a journey, on learning about myself, what I really want from this life, what I really want for myself, where I belong...I wouldn't change anything. My only regret is not having gone to school earlier. But everything happens for a reason. What can I say about myself. I currently attend Mt.Sac for my A.A in Alcohol and Drug counseling. I'm a single mom. Three very great, very good, very active kids. I work part-time at a department store. Soccer Mom. but I guess those aren't really "me" things.
I'm an opinionated, assertive, sensitive, compassionate, understanding, strong, funny, fun, outgoing, protective, polite, respectful, VERY intelligent (if I do say so myself), crazy sometimes, forgetful all the time, disorganized, patriotic, talkative, patient about certain things, impatient about others, GREAT friend, but I also enjoy my solitude, I like feeling melancholy on rainy days, I like being quiet and pensive, I love a pretty face with no brains! But I adore a strong hard working man with mental stimuli. Its a bigger turn on to be with a guy that turns my mind on. Mind on...Clothes off....lol. Pretty faces with no brains...thats ok too...don't talk baby, just smile...lmao.
Anyway I guess that about sums it up. Looking it over, I guess you can say I'm a walking contradiction, but thats okay, cuz I am NEVER bored.
