About Me

****This IS the official Dallas Davidson myspace site, but Dallas DOES NOT run the site.****

The first time Dallas Davidson met his idol, Hank Williams Jr. Hank said “F___ You”.
Dallas paused, took a drag off his cigarette and stuck out his hand with a “Nice to meet you too”.
Dallas is one of those rare individuals that can make anyone immediately feel like at ease.
Country to the bone – influences such as Waylon Jennings, Hank Williams Jr, Wilson Pickett, Otis Redding and Kris Kristofferson helped shape Dallas’ sound. Nashville A&R & Record Producers are always commenting about his strong delivery of a lyric and the musicality of his demos.
Arriving in Nashville in January of 2004, he hit Music Row running in full stride and landed the controversial “HONKY TONK BA-DONK-A-DONK” with superstar Trace Adkins. Catchy as catchy can be this unique song propelled Trace’s Songs About Me album to double-platinum status. The Top 5 song also achieved success as a Platinum Single Download & Ringtone. p>Dallas wrote Brad Paisley and Keith Urban's newest 1 "START A BAND", and Brooks & Dunn took his song “PUT A GIRL IN IT” to the tops of the country chart as well. Dallas also has Jack Ingram's current Top 20 hit, "BAREFOOT AND CRAZY."
In a very short time other successful country artists started to discover Dallas’ unique brand of country. Jamey Johnson, Randy Houser, Luke Bryan, Tim McGraw, Billy Currington, Blake Shelton, Montgomery Gentry, Keith Anderson, Jake Owen, Josh Turner, Colt Ford, Rodney Atkins, Chris Young, Chris Cagle, Joe Nichols, Justin Moore, and Brooks & Dunn have all put their voice to Dallas’ songs.
