After the pre-mature death of his mother, he used songwriting to overcome all the challenges of grief and soon after moved to Nashville to further pursuit the career for which they both believed he was destined.
The road of life, which he often writes about, has not been easy, but Shane’s drive for success and innate faith in God won’t let him give up. Knowing timing is everything and not wanting to make the mistakes of so many singer/songwriters, he has used the struggle to his advantage and in the process his writing style and voice has matured and his talent recognized in and around the industry.
Inspired by many Shane gives credit to Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Buck Owens and Garth Brooks for influencing his music career. Playing left-handed rhythm acoustic with a distinctive voice and writing style, he has been compared to the likes of James Taylor, Don McLean and John Denver.
Shane is in the process of recording a new album and is looking forward to meeting as many fans as he can.
