About Me

Having always had their finger on the pulse, it comes as no surprise that Subversive Records have enlisted the talents of hot new producer/dj, Rupert Romaro to remix Cevin Fisher's classic track, 'The Cream Always Rises'.
Some people are just born with a natural talent and Rupert was one of those lucky few, having completed Grade 8 piano at just age 16. After putting together a home studio and buying some decks not long after, Rupert was soon catching the ears of label heads around the world and DJing at venues such as Ministry of Sound, Eden, 2020 and Plastik.
His first two tracks, 'This Is The Night' and 'Down and Dirty' reached No.2 in the M2M and Trackitdown Electro Charts, and he was soon approached by Artful Dodger, not long after the resurgence of garage, with tracks such as Wiley's 'Wearing My Rolex' to co-produce a track.
Having given Rupert's TCAR remix its debut spin at Pacha (NY), with Cevin himself saying how "it went down a storm", and M.O.S telling us he's "one to watch out for", Rupert is a name you'll be hearing a lot more of....
