The Goods

Formed in Rochester, NY in early 2006, The Goods were a quartet, now shaved down to a trio, performing original music in what could be best described as the jam-band/groove rock genre. Their sound has drawn comparisons to Paul Simon, Phish, and Gov’t Mule as they blend jazz, world, blues, and pop-rock styles to form a sound that is original yet familiar. The Goods features Miles McHugh on vocals, guitar, and songwriting duties, Ben Schiavone on bass guitar and backing vocals, and Jeff “Woody” Woodruff on drums and percussion. What began as an impromptu jam session has evolved into a cohesive group of talented musicians doing what they love…creating and performing original music.
