Hello,i'm Phil, i play bass guitar for years (well i was 13!!). I learned bass playing with Francis Winandy (thanks man for the perfect hand position) and Ben Vanderstraeten (thanks for all) and of course thanks to jeff berlin, Jaco, stan clarke, pino paladino..... for recording all these lines and heard a million time;I played with many guys in Belgium (Kraj, Ken's Novel, Sike, The Aim).
I am very opened for new ideas and i like so many style of music, but i'm back to the roots and play blues and jazz-funk.I'll change my profile picture only when Marleaux will be Ok for an endorsement lol!!!! come on man!!!My Main bass is a 5 string Yamaha BB série, but i play fretless (a marleaux consat a bit modified) when i have an occasion! I am also the happy owner of Steinberger XL 1988.for amplification, i use an EBS350 with 2X10 and 1X15. that's enought. I also have a little Zoom (not so bad for price!!!) with a more than correct DI, so, sometimes i run direct!I love my Wife, so, girls that's ok for a chat but not more....
