Welcome to the official myspace of Burnham on Sea rock trio Infatuated.
Infatuated are a progressive rock band from Burnham on Sea, Somerset. They formed in September 2007 and started work on becoming a fresh and original sounding band which the likes of there hometown had never heard before.
In November 2007 the boys of Infatuated started becoming regulars at The Ritz Acoustic Club in Burnham on Sea, the band where overwhelmed with how well there songs went down with the crowd and where asked to come the next week. After that the band set there goal which was to record there debut EP and start gigging as much as they can in 2008.
February 2008 Infatuated hit the recording studio for the very first time at Kewsound Recording Studios in Kewstoke, Somerset. The band spent two days with Steve Allan who mixed and recorded their self titled EP “Infatuatedâ€. A week later the band held there EP launch and that would also be Infatuated’s first ever gig at The Old Pier Tavern in front of a hometown Burnham on Sea crowd. Infatuated where supported buy Kolo and Chasing Charlie. Infatuated packed The Old Pier Tavern out with an attendance of about 70 fans.
Since then Infatuated have gone on to play 16 more gigs with some great bands such as Shoot The Duke, Go Green Monkey and Civillian at some truly amazing venues like The Underground in Plymouth and Hobbits in Weston-super-Mare.
Infatuated are a great up and coming band that give great live performances and have a lot of energy on stage but like every new band coming through they need as much support as they can get, so next time you see a poster with their name on it go and check them out as it is much appreciated.
