Hello everyone, We run stalls at dog shows to show people what great pets greyhounds and lurchers actually make, while dispelling some of the myths about greyhounds. For example that they need huge amounts of exercise, they usually need about two half hour walks a day and a reasonable area for a good run. After that it is all sleep, sleep, sleep. People also think they are aggressive I think this may be due to the muzzling policy in racing when in reality they are generally soft and loving, excellent around children and other dogs. Please support us we are working towards a good cause. We support
Dumfries and Cumbria Greyhound Rescue .
We use what we raise mainly for kennel fees, vet fees, fostering expenses and advertising. However we also run an extensive ‘Events’ calendar (it all costs money) where we try to raise public awareness of the plight of dogs at the end of their racing/coursing careers.
