It all started with a “Reminisceâ€...
The idea about a studio project came in February 2004 when Vesna recorded vocals on a rough Grega's demo for a song »Reminisce«. Simple, only an acoustic guitar and vocal. Their goal was to record songs that were constantly playing in their heads... They’ve started looking for musicians to join the project. The drum sticks were put into hands of a great jazz drummer Bojan Krhlanko and because they couldn't find a bassist, Vesna has decided that her money saved for a trip to India will be spend on a bass-buying-shoping-spree.
After a year of composing, arranging and rehearsing, Bojan got accepted to Jazz Academy in Graz and his cronical lack of time led the project to a fact that a new drummer was needed. It got impersonalized in Joco Skorjanc, a legendary Slovenian drummer.
Studio project canceled! We ARE a BAND!
While preparing songs for an upcoming album with Joco, they’ve played some covers for clearing their heads... And after a memorial gig for Grega’s good friend Eki Lutman in Ploce, Croatia, they’ve realised that in a process of making an album a project has grown in a band!
In search for a name...
Well, after becoming a band they needed a name! Nameless was already taken ïŠ and they were just standing in the middle of Abbey Road – a famous street in London in front of legendary Abbey Road Studios. Musically speaking Abbey Road is a name with history... And because they swear on pure, clean and vintage rock sound they felt it was the right one. They’ve just added an “s†and named themeselves ABBEY’S ROAD.

In october 2007 they’ve published their first single “Sled†which was very accepted on radio stations in Slovenia. “Sled†even became a “Song of a week†on national VAL 202! Now they are giging all over Slovenia, promoting their single and other songs from their upcoming album and leaving a trace in Slovenian rock scene...
Changes
However, things are not always running smooth. Joco is leaving the band because of ever growing obligations. A new drummer is recruited – also a good friend, Frano Putica from Ploce, Croatia...
