Our Remaining Rocket is a three piece punk outfit that begun late 2007.
Laine and Nigel have been good friends for many years and always shared similar taste in music. As high school progressed so did their drive to be in a successful band, and this sprouted Skylene Drive and Love Is Evil.
06/07 saw the end of both of those bands. Looking forwards, Nigel and Laine agreed to start a fresh and begin playing punk rock once more. They then asked the only drummer they knew if he was willing to sit behind the kit for them. Paul was ecstatic to play in a band again and that sparked the creation of Our Remaining Rocket.
ORR is based upon having a good time and making simple punk songs the best they can be. We are all three piece band people and wouldn’t know how to operate in another environment. This is what works for us.
Both Paul and Nigel have gained valuable gig experience playing alongside bands such as The Getaway Plan and The Ground Floor.
Our Remaining Rocket is the worst band name ever and we really can’t be fucked changing it as it causes too many issues. So we will go by ORR until we can think of something so good its worth all the trouble of changing our name.
