I'm a fine artist who somehow ended up painting and airbrushing hot rods and motorcycles. It pays the bills, and that's good thing. It was in 1979 I painted my first bike tank. It's been a long and interesting journey since then.
I'm not into labels, so I don't know about the whole "biker chick" thing, but it seems my life has become motorcycles. Painting them, welding and working on them, and best of all, riding them. I am a gearhead at heart and dig hot rod cars and trucks.
I love to cook and garden. I have way too many houseplants. My idea of a perfect day can be anything from playing cards with my friends to camping with my godsons to curling up with a good book to hopping on my sportster and blasting around the NC mountains with my buddies Barb and Ginny.
I've been painting bikes for 28 years. My shop is not a high production facility. The peaceful atmosphere here at my little chopper farm allows me to truly focus on my customers' projects. Although my projects include painting canvases, racing boats, and cars, the bulk of my artwork is done on motorcycles. I have been around motorcycles and cool cars most of my life. My current rides are an '89 Sportster which has been raked and fitted with custom fabricated and custom painted sheetmetal and 2004 Chopper.
I also do a little writing and journalism. I have had 4 books published and am finishing up the 5th, due out in Spring 08. You can find out more about my books by visting my website. I also work as a free lance journalist.

I love to ride my bikes. Love to mt bike and kayak. I'm a downhill ski junkie, love playing in the moguls, love to swim. I just love life in general. My friends are the best.
I feel each day is a gift. If I won the lotto, I'd spend most of my time with friends and family as that is what is most important to me. I am still friends with my friends from high school.
Look for my motorcycle articles on Bikernet.com, and in The Horse Back Street Choppers, American Iron, American Iron Retailer, Easyriders, VTwin, and Ironworks.

Repair shops are for wusses! You think that only pretty boys drive Corvettes. You know which colors and options were available on a 1966 Pontiac Catalina.
