Mygrain was started and formed by Maze in 1996. Later he was followed by Al V. a bass player Maze had played with when he was a drummer. Next the band found Dave V. the guitarist also happens to be Al's brother. Then the band went through some drummers. They started with a young fellow Josh D. that lasted a year. Then came Ford he also was in the band for a year. After no luck finding anyone and a show coming up, Rob Pele a fellow musician from the scene sang for Chiselhead and was also a drummer. He offered to play with Mygrain to save the show. As it turned out he like the band so much he stayed. The band went on to put out one independent C.D. "Plagued." Headlined LA's top venues, and even had a song on a movie soundtrack "Soul Survivors" before the band disbanded in 2000.
Maze went on to form another band in LA called Plauged that lasted maybe 2 years.
Now you can find Maze in Baltimore playing with a band called Gorman Prophecy.
