Lincoln Animal Rights is a local campaign group dedicated to speaking out for the rights and welfare of animals. The group meets fortnightly to discuss and plan events such as information stalls, local demos and also attend national demos. This group is NON VIOLENT, we are a peaceful lot who just want to help those who do not have a voice! Please don't be put off standing up for animals just because of the biased way the media portrays animal rights activists, we are all compassionate people who care for non-human animals and humans alike.

One way of influencing change on many animal rights issues is to write to the local newspaper. If they print your letter relating to any issue be it foie gras, vivisection or vegetarianism/veganism etc and one other person reads it, you've got through to somebody different you otherwise wouldn't have. Spread the word!
