Music, music and then, just a bit more music. Listening to it, talking about it, writing about it...spending way too much money on it.Teaching high schoolers English and hoping they pass those goddamn useless state tests. Making sure they know learning is so much more important than passing those tests.Getting a master's in journalism, getting in loads of debt and then not finding a job in journalism.Moving from Iowa to Seattle to Boston to Jacksonville to San Francisco.Meeting people, leaving people, keeping people in mind and in touch. Smiling when I think about those people.Perfecting my skills as an omniscient narrator, photographer, birder, tree identifier, band finder, strutter, pedestrian and beer elitist.It gets more beautiful everyday.
