OVERVIEW: The 12th Annual Millennium Music Conference & Showcase will be held February 14-17, 2008 at the Radisson Penn Harris Hotel & Convention Center in Camp Hill, PA -- MMC12 will feature 3 days of music business keynotes, panels, clinics, workshops, mentoring & demo listening sessions and trade show. The event celebrates new music with 4 nights of showcase performances by 300 original acts and artists at 30 venues in and around Harrisburg, PA Since 1997, the conference & showcase has become one of the premier music events on the East Coast. Music industry professionals attend as panelists, speakers, mentors, exhibitors and talent scouts to network, do business and share their experience with musicians, registrants and attendees. The community joins in the celebration of emerging talent, independent artists and new music.

Millennium Music Conference Showcases create exciting and valuable platform for new talent. Performing at the annual event and networking with the community, other musicians and music industry professionals in the unique conference environment could be integral to your career. MMC12 will select over 300 unsigned, independent acts and artists to showcase at 30 venues in and around Harrisburg, PA All showcases are open to the public and most all genres are represented. All selected acts recieve credentials to attend a day of busines sessions at the Radisson Penn Harris Convention Center.
Last year over 200 Sonicbids acts were selected; so the best way to submit for showcase consideration is to apply online through Sonicbids.com with an electronic press kit. MMC12 also accepts submissions through the US Mail. Download and mail in the showcase application with a complete press kit including 3 original songs. You can also use an active and updated site on myspace, purevolume or virb.com in lieu of the traditional press kit. The showcase submission deadline is November 16, 2007 and the fee is $20. Your act must submit to be considered. All selevted acts get considered for the Compilation CD if they send in their music by December 10. Early showcase selections are made in October and November of 2007 and all final notifications begin on December 3, 2007 and continue until complete. Submit Now! Plan now for 2008!

Early regular registration for the Millennium Music Conference is only $55.00 per person if completed before November 30, 2007. Discounted registration for showcasing acts and artists, students, military, NARAS, ASCAP and BMI members is $55.00 until February 2, 2008. This conference is the most affordable and musician friendly event of it's kind in the country. You, your band or music industry related business need to be represented at this event. Networking at this music conference will provide you with the tools and contacts to take your music business skills to the next level; but you must register to attend and receive the MMC12 Laminate. All registrants receive a personalized All Access Laminate good for all 4 Nights and 3 Days of conference and showcase events.
