About Me

Growing up in Edison, NJ, Frank relocated to Philadelphia to attend the University of the Arts. After studying saxophone for 2 years, he finished his bachelors in music composition and earned a masters degree in Music Ed, all the while continuing to study with numerous horn-players including Lenny Pickett of SNL and T.O.P. fame. Having earned a reputation as an animated and energetic performer, "Philly Frank" has shared the stage with many established professional musicians on the east coast including G. Love, Marc Rizzo, III Kings, and 5th Column. He continues to make his mark by featuring the sax in new roles in genres such as heavy metal, hip hop, Pop, R&B, and Soul most recently, with Tangible Truth and the Dan Kalai band, along side Latin Jazz composer and band leader Suzzette Ortiz. Lately, Frank has slowed down his performance schedule to focus on his latest project, Limelight Arts, a non-profit music and performing arts training and community center located in the East Falls section of Philadelphia. Limelight Arts is set to open it's doors this fall. Check out the details at www.limelightarts.com
